Welcome to Fish Market 2016International workshop on downstream fish passage best practices and innovations at hydropower stations - 6th and 7th of October 2016

 

The Fish Market is a conference for anyone involved in the work on fish migration, fish passage and restoration. It has been hosted as a workshop and the main theme was "best practices and innovations for the protection of downstream migration". During this Fish Market were given lectures, chances to increase your network, meet hydropower companies, governmental agencies and consultants. Several exhibitors participated such as dealers of relevant products and services. On both days, guided excursions were organized to the fish migration facilities of the ECI power plant in Roermond.

 

This Fish Market in the Netherlands has been organized by the International Commission for the Projection of the Rhine (ICPR), the regional water authority Roer and Overmaas and the World Fish Migration Foundation (WFMF).
